Harpist concertist with a classical background, Claire Galo-Place likes to make her instrument travel through uncommon places and styles. In 2003, she got a master degree at the Indiana University and she won the 5th price of the Nippon Harp Competition in Soka (Japan). Since then , she leads her carreer internationally as soloist and chamber musician. Her last tours took her to through Europe, North Africa, United States and French West Indies. For the last two years, she takes more and more interest in Jean Cras, a composer  and sailor of the French Navy from the beginning of the Xxe century, wich conducts her to create the Association Jean Cras and the Ensemble Jean Cras, wich propose a concert entirely dedicated to this composer. In a more experimental field, Claire Galo-Place created with her husband the group MUM – Musical Universe Mechanism – wich allows her to explore the possibilities of the blue electro acoustic harp.
